VALERIE LE MEUR

Born in August 1965 in BOULOGNE-BILLANCOURT (92), lives and works in GIF-SUR-YVETTE (91), France.

Sensitive and offbeat by nature with the world around her, it was her encounter with the theatre during her school years that allowed her to discover an artistic universe in which she finally felt her place.

She continued the theatre for some years, when she moved to GIF-SUR-YVETTE in 2008 she discovered acrylic painting.

This artistic form becomes obvious almost naturally from the role of performer in the theatre to that of creator in painting.After several years of lessons and personal work, she decided to face the gaze of the public. She then participated in the Festival of artists in GIF-SUR-YVETTE in June 2016 where she received a warm welcome from the public and professionals.

Since then, she has been painting full time and exhibiting regularly in France, (Paris region and province) and abroad.
